Hello,
I’m Jennifer Ross and I am the owner and founder of Kayo Kare Pet Sitting in Simi Valley, California. Kayo Kare was named after my dog Kayo who was a wonderful Pitbull/Neapolitan Mastiff mix that I adored. It has been several years since I lost him and I miss him every day.
I love animals and their unconditional love. They teach us compassion and patience and always stand by us.
I grew up in the West San Fernando Valley and was born and raised in California. I am supported by my wonderful husband Tony, and I have one adult son and a new grandson. My background is in the customer service industry, so I pride myself on professionalism and courtesy.
The idea of joining the Pet care and Sitting industry started for me in 2014 when I began to care for employers, friends and families pets while they were away. I cared for all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, tortoises, fish, rats, donkeys and even a Zony. I’ve gained valuable and versatile pet care experience and knowledge.
I am currently volunteering at the Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control Center in Agoura Hills. This required multiple hours of training both online and in person.
Jennifer’s Qualifications
Canine Coaching Team – Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control in Agoura – 200+ Volunteer Hours
Fear Free Trained (Course was created for the veterinary industry) which taught me how to read cats and dogs body language and stress signals.
Animal HELP Course – This is training used by Animal Control Officers for reactive or aggressive dogs.
